June Elizabeth Schramm passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2026 after a prolonged stay at Sparkle Family Home in Everett. June was the youngest daughter of Theodore and Bonnie Wolf. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings (Oril Wolf, Doris VanDyke, and Howard Wolf), her husband Donald Schramm, and her daughter Connie Schramm.
June and Don married on September 11, 1952. They were inseparable partners until his death in 1993. June was a committed stay home mother. She loved being a wife, mother, gardener, housekeeper, and all things domestic. She was self-sufficient and taught her children to be the same. June was fiercely dedicated to her family.
As a self taught seamstress June could make anything and everything from a prom dress to living room drapery. She was strong both physically and headed. Working farm chores in the morning and whipping up a beautiful birthday cake in the afternoon was just another day for her. June got things done and was highly respected for it. She knew what she wanted and was not timid about asking for it.
June was known for her determination and skill. She had a full robust life of weathering challenges and celebrating wins. She was versatile, brave, and a pillar of strength in her younger years. After her husband passed, June had to reinvent who she was and how to show up in a world without him. She did so with grace and acceptance. As her memory slipped away she became quieter and sometimes fearful, but she remained trustful and committed to her family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Sparkle Family Home for taking such good care of mom this past year. We also thank hospice staff and volunteers for their kindness. We are sincerely grateful to you all. Thanks also to the staff at The Cottages at Marysville.
She leaves behind her three eldest children and their spouses, Don and Connie Schramm, Carolyn and Scott Johnston, Dave and Terri Schramm, and 7 grandchildren along with 20 great grandkids. She was / is / and will always be deeply loved. Rest in Peace Mom.
