Lois was my baby sister.  When she was born, my brother and I went to see her by looking at the hospital window.  She looked like a little bundle of blankets.
When Lois was about 3 years old, our mother assigned me the responsibility of "minding Lois"  We covered a chair with bath towels and made a paper crown.  She sat in the chair and was the "Queen."  
After about an hour. she was out of the chair complaining to our mother that the "Queen" never got to do anything.  Lois was born intelligent and capable.  Lois knew at 3 years of age that she was being scammed.  She took action to change things.   She never lost those qualities.  
We put the chair into a wagon and Jimmie Jones (later a famous  Utah artist) pulled the wagon and Lois was part of the game.  That is a favorite memory of my childhood.
