Lorraine E Regan of Arlington passed away October 17, 2025 at the age of 101. She was the eldest of three children born to Henry and Louise Nilsson on August 13, 1924 in Everett, WA. She was raised on a small farm in Sunnyside and graduated from Marysville High school in 1942. Following her graduation she worked at Peoples Bank of Everett for 5 years where she reconnected with her childhood sweetheart and within 4 months they were married and celebrated over 60 years together.
Lorraine was a devoted wife and her greatest joy was time spent with family. She hosted holiday gatherings until the age of 99. Lorraine had an amazing memory and a quick, dry wit. She wrote in a daily journal for over 60 years and if ever there was a dispute about something that had occurred, she would refer to her journals and set all parties straight. She was an expert at crossword puzzles, word scrambles, family card games, and master baker of cookies, rolls, breads, cakes, and pies and loved to try new recipes.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her children Jim (Fely), Jerry, Terah (Celeste), and Cindy, seven grandchildren, six great and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 am at Weller’s Funeral Home.
In place of flowers, donations to a favorite charity can be made in Lorraine’s name. Lorraine’s family would like to acknowledge the special love and care she received in her final days from Sheba’s Love Family Home and Harriet and Evans Kimori.
