Lucille Stivala, (Anna Lucille Stivala) age ninety-four, of Arlington, Washington, a humble servant of God, went home to be with the LORD Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Lucy was known for her strong faith and compassion for all she met.
Lucy played a pivotal role in the communities she lived in, and the churches she co-pastored with her husband the late Reverend Albert Stivala.
Lucy was born in Seattle, Washington on October 1, 1931 to Albert William Lindstrand and Margaret Reems.
Her life was marked by an unfailing commitment to serve Christ. She played a pivotal role in the communities she lived in, the churches she helped lead, and the family she has left behind.
Lucy received her greater education at Eugene Bible College.
Through her years as a co-pastor she has touched countless lives in the many churches she and her husband served.
Lucy, and her husband Al gave life to struggling Assemblies of God churches and helped them grow and gain in strength and numbers by reaching out to the community with compassion and the love of Christ. Among the churches she co-pastored are Horseshoe Bend Assembly of God (Idaho), Warm Beach Assembly of God, Monroe Faith Center, and Mill Creek Assembly of God. Lucy and Al also lead a singles group from Bethany Assembly of God. Lucy gave the best of her years to serving the people and the churches she lead, always leading them on in the name of Jesus.
In addition to working with the churches she also worked full time as the lead cook for the Mukilteo School District.
Her cinnamon rolls were legendary with many of the principals making special trips to her kitchen when it was cinnamon roll day.
During the summer, she was also the lead cook at Cedar Springs Camp in Lake Stevens Washington.
Lucy loved to cook. One phrase you were sure to be asked when visiting Lucy was,
“Have you eaten yet?”
Lucy enjoyed boating with her family and giving ski instructions to all who wished to learn.
She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of the their fruit trees.
She leaves behind her children, Daniel (Yong) Stivala, Kathy Ketchum, and Ronald (Donna) Stivala; her 10 grandchildren, Gina, Albert, Tina, Brandon, Nathan, Nicolas, Danielle, Joshua, Jarred and Seth; and her 19 great-grandchildren, and her 8 great great grandchildren.
