Nelda M. Ulery, 83, of Arlington, WA, passed away July 16, 2012 in Lynnwood, WA. Nelda was born to J. Fred and Bunah Ulery August 3, 1928 in Goshen, IN. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1947 and Manchester College in 1951. Nelda spent her career as a teacher in Home Economics at Arlington High School. She was noted for her hand stitchery work, knitting, sewing and crafts. Nelda was a loving, helpful, proud teacher of many students. Surviving her are her nieces, Nole Ann (David) Ulery-Horsey, Beth Hormann, Tammy Jahrman, Jodi (Duane) McCollum; great-nieces and great-nephews, Darielle Horsey, Daniel Horsey, Anden Hormann, Jaren Hormann, Ryan Jahrman, Scott Jahrman, Evan Jahrman, Allana McCollum and Meagan McCollum, A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Olympic Place 20909 Olympic Place NE, Arlington, WA. Memorial donations may be made to Olympic Place Retirement Community for staff appreciation.
