Pearlene Brown

Pearlene (Ashe) Brown of Darrington, WA, left us on December 22, 2016 to join our Saviour. Pearlene was born February 15, 1932 in Argura, NC. She married and then moved to Washington State in 1959. She is proceeded in death by her husband Thomas C. Brown Sr., her parents Ralph & Essie Ashe and four of her siblings. Pearlene is survived by her children, Thomas Brown Jr., Joyce Dawson and Larry Brown, five siblings, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her lifelong friend Billie Moore. Pearlene’s joys in life were her family & friends, she loved to get together to celebrate, especially Christmas. She loved her church. She taught Sunday School for many years and attended every Sunday. Pearlene also loved growing flowers and taking walks. She was always ready to shop or go traveling. She was the most kind & giving mother, sibling, grandmother and friend. Visitation will be held at Weller Funeral Home in Arlington, WA on Thursday December 29 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the Mountain View Baptist Church, Friday, December 30th at 11:00 am with dinner to follow at the Darrington community Center. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the Darrington funeral dinner fund.
