Bob was promoted to Paradise on August 20, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in the South Lake Stevens area of Snohomish County, Washington, and remained in Snohomish County all of his life. He and Beverly married in 1954 and made their first home in the Fobes area. They moved to the little house on Chapel Hill Rd in Lake Stevens and lived there for 38 years, before retiring to Darrington in 1998. Over his lifetime Bob worked in the Shingle Mill and Aerospace Industries. Bob was a longtime volunteer fireman with the Lake Stevens Fire Dept. He loved country and gospel music and many a good time was had while Bob sang and played guitar or mandolin. He was happiest puttering around in his garden and shop, and little could come between him and picking his “little wild blackberries.” If you were blessed to receive some from him, then you were considered a true friend indeed. Bob and Bev also enjoyed many camping adventures and travels over the years.

He was also proceeded in death by his daughter, Lorelei Smith-Mount-Zamora in 2006.
He is survived by his bride of 68 years, Beverly, and daughter Tammy Smith (Bob Wright) and daughter Genevieve Fromong (Del). Grandchildren Jason Mount, Tonia Mount (Richard Crooke) Kaylena Fromong and Cameron Fromong (Alyssa Peck).
