Sam H Lund

Samuel Henry Lund, a lifetime resident of Arlington, WA, passed away at home from heart disease on January 28, 2024. Sam was born on July 3, 1949. He attended Arlington schools and earned associate degrees in Electronics and Liberal Arts from Everett Community College. He served as a Medic in Germany during the Viet Nam War.

Sam went on to become a talented wood worker and carpenter, building custom furniture for many years in his shop. Sam loved music, was a skilled marksman, and very artistic.

He married the love of his life, Carol Ann LeMay, on July 3, 1993. They built a home in Arlington, where they have resided for 30 years.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Murray Lund and Sheridan Dean Lund. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his sister, Anne Lund Kazen (Rick); stepson, Ken Schaffer (Nikki); nephews, Jason Kazen (Ann), Kris Kazen (Tessa); and several grand nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
