She was born October 19, 1930 in Huntsville, Missouri to Marvin and Lora Polston. She was raised in Portland, Oregon. Shirley lived 50 years in Federal Way before moving to Camano Island. She was a hairstylist who ran a Salon out of her home.
She leaves her two daughters; Shawnee (Frank) Atalig of Camano Island, and Sheryl (Bryan) Tingley of Auburn; her two sisters, LeeAnn Barnhart and Peggy Noble; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Hill and her brother, Robert Polston.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2 PM at Westhill Church, 29926 37th Ave. S., Auburn, WA 98001. Burial at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon.
