Violet M. Peterson, 90, passed away April 11, 2012 in Marysville, WA. She was born to John and Mildred Fleming August 22, 1921 in Sumas, WA. Violet enjoyed gardening, bowling, bingo, traveling and camping. She was a strong, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband of 44 years, Glen Peterson in 1984 and brother Ivan Fleming. Violet is survived by her children, Robert (Becky) Peterson, Rodney (Bunnie) Peterson, Vickie (Gene) Pettijohn; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 16, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington, with viewing just before beginning at 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Arlington Municipal Cemetery.
