November 28, 1944November 7, 2020

Allan Francis Habeck, born November 28, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully in his sleep, November 7, 2020, at the age of 75. He was born in St. Louis, MO on November 28, 1944, the son of the late Francis Habeck and Augusta Clementine Habeck (Kentzinger).

Allan is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Schott) Habeck; his children, Pamela (Dan) Pitts, and Steven (Lisa) Habeck; dear Grandfather to Brett, Danielle, Brittany, Lexi, Justin, Jordan, Jessica, and Colton; dear Great Grandfather to Amelia Marie; dear brother to Jim Nevins, Ted Habeck and Barbara Parker; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Allan worked much of his life as a truck driver in the beer industry and later went on to retire, only to become a school bus driver for special needs children in our area. He had a special place in his heart for those children and he felt extremely honored to be able to spend time with them. Allan has shared many funny stories with his family and friends over the years from his experiences at both jobs. His sense of humor was what everyone loved about him. He was always ready with a joke or silly expression.

Allan was a true family man who loved and enjoyed spending all of his time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Allan touched the lives of so many people. He will forever be known as the most loving and selfless husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

The family has planned private services.

I grew up across the street from the Habecks. I was best friends with Steve Habeck. They were one of the best friends/neighbors our family could ever ask for. Al was always fun to be around. Telling jokes or playing practical jokes on us kids in the neighborhood.
