Alligene Vandiver

Alligene was born October 9, 1930 in Leachville, Arkansas to Grace (Ward) and Audie Durham. She worked in a factory and was a housewife. On May 13, 1948 she married John Lee Vandiver.

She is survived by two children; Ron Vandiver (Patricia) and Dian Mossman (Charles). Four grandchildren; Stephanie Russo (Joe), Chad Mossman (Sandra), Michelle Denman (Scott) and Jennifer Dietrich. Ten great grandchildren; Courtney Mossman, Jeremy Mossman (Casey), Megan Mossman, Grace Denman, Tyler Denman, Kaylee Denman, Chase Pfeffer, Carson Dietrich, Dominic Russo and Joey Russo. Five great great grandchildren; Brooklyn Mossman, Elena Smith, Fynn Smith, Ava Mossman and Jay Mossman. She also had several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Grace and Audie Durham. Her husband; John Lee Vandiver. Two sisters; Verdel Deal and Ona Bell. Four brothers; GW, Noel, Edward and Bill Durham. Two great granddaughters; Madison and Brianna Pfeffer.

She had a passion for family, friends, fishing and she also loved to color.

A visitation will be held at Church of Christ-Arnold, 1363 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO.
