Arlyn Edward Witte, age 100, of Desoto, Mo. passed away September 8, 2025. Born in Lemay, Mo. on May 6, 1925, he was a decorated WWII veteran and a 37- year Ameren retiree. He loved to tinker around his homes in Desoto and Florida. He loved to tell stories, argue with anyone who would take the bait and he dearly loved his dog. Arlyn was preceded in death by parents Frank and Viola (nee Bennett), wife Scooter (nee Mary Pascal), daughter Marlyn Exler and her husband Ken, daughter-in-law Susan (nee Burgan) and grandson Jeffery Keller. He is survived by daughters Linda (Jerry) Frintrup, Anita (Mike) Harrison, son David, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
