Barbara A Schmieding

Barbara A. Schmieding (nee Young) passed away peacefully on November 28, 2014 at her residence. Beloved wife of Peter "Pete" Schmieding. Loving mother of Cheryl Burrus, Paige and Scott Fahland. Dear grandmother of Nicholas and Maggie Marie Burrus and Christine and Catherine Fahland. Great grandmother of Ana Marie Burrus and Catherine Rose Altom. Step-grandmother of Connor, Rachel, Kierra and Regan Schmieding and Jake Grimm. Sister of Moletta (the late Hal) Merrit, Earl (Vina) Young, Wayne (Brenda) Young, Ronnie (the late Rita) Young, Shelia (Dennis) Earley and Lana Sue (Robert) Woods, Dearest friend of Carol Deason- Walker.

Barbara was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles for 26 years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 17 years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014, 4-8:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Rd., Imperial, Mo. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Mo. In lieu of flowers, donations to F.O.E. Charities Foundation, 1623 Gateway Circle S, Grove City, Ohio 43123, earmarked for Diabetes Research Center, appreciated.
