Bonnie was such a wonderful friend, she taught me about gardening, let me drive her convertible, and even stayed with us for a week so she could ring bells for The Salvation Army and help with other Christmas activities. Bennie was a wonderful friend to many, I remember when she was moving to Independence, I wanted to have a going away party, at first she said NO, as only Bonnie could, then she said, yes because a friend reminded her That if she didn’t let us give her a party, that she would be keeping us from the blessing of giving, so she said yes, it was fun, we all loved it, including Bonnie.
