Carolyn Sue Tweedy (nee Belfield) of Imperial, MO passed on Sunday May 10, 2026. She was born in Ironton, MO on October 6,1946 to the late Melvin Ernest and Mary Frances (nee Mc Nabb) Belfield; loving mother of Gretchen (Kent) McWherter, Benjamin Tweedy and Jonathan Tweedy; loving grandmother of Tatianna (Melissa) Anderson and Kyra Shaffer; great grandmother of Annalyse Maxwell and Elena Maxwell; dear sister of Sharon (Rick) Reid; dear aunt and friend to many.
Carolyn was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Worthy Matron. She was a Kindergarten Teacher and a First Grade Teacher for Festus R-6 Elementary School.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 22, 2026 from 4-8 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday May 23, 2026, 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
