It’s been one year since my sister passed away and it’s been a year of so many emotions.  We, as a family, spent so much time, such a huge part of our lives, being a part of the team of people caring for my sister.  Diane, my Mom and Leslie were her constant, never fails.  I miss both my sisters exponentially.  Our lives twined together like braided rope. Just like braided rope that has been deconstructed, I still have the bends and imprints in my life of the missing parts, I feel that empty space daily as I know my Mom and brothers do as well.  People say, remember the good stuff. Well, that is all there was.  My sister was joy, she was quirky and prone to just saying stuff out loud that we all got a chuckle out of. ….. I don’t know how long it will take before time and gravity will soften the rawness.   It’s been one year. 

Cynthia and I first met in late 1998.  We had great times together - especially the trips we took to London and Hawaii.  I have so many wonderful memories.  I had hopes that she would recover from the accident, but that was not to be.  I will always miss her.  She is at peace.  

You have our heartfelt condolences for your loss.   We have prayed for Cindy and your family numerous times over the last 18 years and have had her on our minds last few weeks.   We sure hate to hear this and will be praying for your family.

I will always remember Cindy as being a beautiful, kind, sincere and lovable person. Cindy had a heart of gold. I will always keep her in my thoughts and heart.  I send my most sincere sympathy to her mother, family and friends. Heaven has gained another angel.

I knew Cynthia from working with her at the IL Dept of Public Health for many years.  She was a competent, cheerful and likeable coworker.  I was shocked when she was seriously injured during a traffic accident years ago.  I believe many people will miss her; I do. I wish sincere condolences to her family and many friends.
