It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Dorothy M. Carollo, who left us peacefully on August 8, 2025 at the age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Salvatore Carollo, and her beloved son, Paul Carollo. She is survived by her son Giovanni (Susan) Carollo; her grandchildren Michele (Jennifer) Shore, Tony (Sandy) Brown, and great-grandchildren William and Taylor Brown; and many treasured nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Dorothy had a one-of-a-kind spirit that lit up every room she entered. She loved watching “spooky” movies — the scarier the better — and had a special fondness for beautiful, intricate décor, especially the kind that gave dusters a real challenge. She never missed a chance to enjoy a good meal out, and come Christmas, she could shop circles around anyone, delighting in the joy of giving.
More than anything, she found her greatest happiness simply being with her family. Her love, smile, and unmistakable warmth created the kind of memories that will live on.
She was full of heart — a woman who gave so much and asked for little in return. She will be dearly missed.
