A true friend, and "our backdoor neighbor" as Doug said, because of our Nikki dog!!! Not long after moving here, in the middle of the night, someone was pounding on our bedroom window, it was Doug, letting us know the house next door was on fire!!! He was always there to help with anything, such a loving caring man, we will miss him so much!!! Rest in Peace, no more pain!!!

Doug was a great guy. I always enjoyed talking to him when I worked with him at Artco. He will be missed.

One of my favorite memories is, Doug carried a harmonica everywhere he went. He'd pull it out and play it all the time. Actually he was very good- he also loved to dance to Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels- even if no one would join him he had a way of pulling you in.
