I’m so very sorry for your loss. Eric was a great person, a caring and thoughtful friend. Although we lost touch, I know he would always be there if I ever needed anything. He brought a lot of light to this world.

I still vividly remember my 8th grade year at Seckman Junior High (now called Seckman middle school) Pretty much the whole year he was my "boyfriend" until he had to leave school. I was so very sad. I remember going to church with him and his family where I think his grandfather was the pastor. I just adored his brother and parents. Eric and I lost touch with one another in the 90's and he came back into my life around 2009. I'm so happy we got to spend time with one another and talk about our past as if we never lost touch. Eric, I'm so very sorry that the past few years went so quickly. I'm even more sorry that I did not keep up with you once again. I will always love you honey, and I hope I see you again with our lord and savior.

It’s very hard to write this digital and wish I knew how to send to the family a handwritten version. Eric was one of my best friends and influential people in my life. We both experienced so much together as youths and I know many excursions weren’t the best, but we looked out for each other more than anyone will ever know. Thank you for the friendship and thank you for being a great family that looked out for me when I stayed the night as a kid. I love you all and let me know where I can help.
