Forrest “Bill” Gabel, age 80, of Imperial, Missouri passed away at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Forrest was born September 24, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents Eldred and Violet (Blumer) Arnold and his sister Beverly Saffa and a brother in law, Jerry Douglas.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Arlene (Becker) along with his daughters, Christine (Nick) Rissell and Dana Gabel. He leaves behind his siblings, Sandy Douglas, Teri (John) Lonigro, Dennis Arnold and Rick (Jan) Arnold.
Bill was a veteran of the Armed Services and served proudly in the United States Army.
Bill was the former co-owner of Imperial Bowl. He had many hobbies which included fishing at Stockton Lake, deer hunting, collecting Native American Indian Arrowheads along with hiking and enjoying nature.
