Gene Douglas Terry

Gene D. Terry of Arnold, MO passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Virginia A. Terry (nee Neumeier). Loving father of Charlotte (Terry) Hollingsworth, Paul (Chris) Terry, Rob (Sandy) Terry, Jan (Bill) Woods and Cindy (Steve) Backer. Dearest grandfather of Kevin (Edit) Terry, Kelsi Terry, Trevor Case, Brittany Woods and Sophie Woods. Dear brother of the late A.W. (survived by Jimmie) Terry. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

Gene was a longtime member of the River Trails District Boy Scouts in Jefferson County and served as the Assistant District Commissioner. He was awarded the Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, 3R Award and River Trails Distinguished Arrowman. He was best known for running the district basketball tournament and swim meet.

Funeral service to be held at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
