Harold "Buzz" Clarence Sudbeck

On Sunday, March 28, 2021, Harold “Buzz” Clarence Sudbeck peacefully passed away at the age of 88 years old. Buzz was born on April 9, 1932, in St. Louis, MO, to Clarence and Florence (Losses) Sudbeck. Beloved husband of 67 years to the late Joyce E. Sudbeck. He leaves behind a son, Steve (Theresa) Sudbeck and daughter, Chris Williamson. Cherished grandfather to Emily Koenegstein, Rachel (Danny) Breier, Tim (Marcie) Williamson, Martha (Brennon) Sudbeck-Shoemaker, Angie (Dustin) Firestine, David Sudbeck, and Ellen Sudbeck. Fondly remembered as “grampy” to nine great-grandchildren. Buzz served in the United States Army in the Korean War. Later in years, retired from the United States Postal Service where he did auto body repair and mechanics. He enjoyed working on cars especially his Model A’s. He was a gifted painter and talented at wood working. Known to many as a family man and had a real love for animals. Visitation will take place at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, Missouri on Thursday April 1, 2021 from 10:30 am- 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow visitation at 12:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO. Uncle Buzz was a kind man who always had a smile for you when he saw you.
I am glad he is now at peace and back with the love of his life although sad for those of us who will miss him.

I have a lot of fond memories from working with your grand pa Harold. We worked side by side many a day at the Postal Service.
