Hilda was an elementary school teacher. She, along with her husband Victor Snyder, were curators at Saxon Lutheran Memorial for 10 years. She was active in LWML, choir, played the piano, and other activities. She was a member of St John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 4 siblings. She is survived by 5 children, David (Judy) Snyder, Darlene Hoffmaster, Daniel (Mary Anne) Snyder, Deanna (Thomas) Sorrell and Douglas (Cathy) Snyder; 11 grandchildren Tammy (Johnathan) Neeley, David (Selena) Snyder, Angela (John) Horgan, Michael Snyder, Mark (Cathy) Snyder, Stephanie Ross, Timothy Snyder, Darin Sorrell, Korisa (Andrew) Carbone, Valerie (Luke) Shoup, Jonathan (Kristin) Snyder; 29 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.
Celebration of Joy Memorial service will be held at St John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO 63010 Friday August 22, 2025, 4:30 PM with visitation from 4:00 PM until time of service.
