Jane Ann McGill, age 85, of Imperial, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was born May 4, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Anna M. Loch (nee Ries) and Matthew Loch. Jane is survived by son Mark L. Burns. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. McGill, Sr.: son Matthew W. Davison and brother Edward E. Loch. She was our dear step-mother, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many.
Jane retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and was a member of the Pioneers. She was named Pioneer of the Year in 1992-1993. She also was a lifetime member of the St. Anthony's Ladies Auxiliary and a dedicated volunteer for many organizations, which included St. Jude's/MDA Telethon, St. Louis Labor Council AFL-CIO, Ronald McDonald House, St. Anthony's Hospital, Operation Bright Side and many more. Jane will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. on May 22, 2020 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home,1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. The funeral service will be Friday, May 22, 2020, at the funeral home from 12:00-12:30 pm. A graveside service will take place from 2:00-2:15 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 10180 Gravois, Affton, Missouri 63123. The burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
