Jeffrey Michael Sevier

SEVIER, Jeffrey Michael, 59 of Saint Louis, MO passed away on November 9, 2015. Jeffrey was the beloved son of the late Jimmie and Audrey Sevier (nee Jezik) and loving brother of Keith (Julie) Sevier, Dawn Sevier and Jennifer (Stan) Bailey. He was a dear uncle to Samantha (James) Boever, Nichole Sevier, Ashley Sevier, Amelia Moeckli (Sevier), Joseph Bailey, Zachary Bailey and Kaitlyn Bailey. Jeffrey was best friend and companion to Linda Roach. He was also a cousin and friend to many.

Jeff earned a Master’s Degree from St. Louis University in Clinical Psychology. He helped establish the Sleep Disorders Research Lab at SLU Hospital and later, went on to work in Public Relations at the Savvis Center.

His incredible intellect, capacity and desire to learn was matched only by his trademark wit and unparalleled sense of humor. He had a great joy and appreciation of music, accumulating a vast library of albums. He also taught himself to play the piano and created his own compositions. He was an accomplished cook, talented gardener, and avid reader. His home was filled with beautifully displayed art work made by his family and friends.

Jeff’s kind and generous nature, his exuberance for life and carefree spirit was admired and loved by all who knew him. He was truly one of a kind. We will dearly miss our best friend and big brother.

SERVICES: There will be a memorial visitation for Jeff from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, November 28th 2015 followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. The visitation and service will be held at Heiligtag Lang Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO 63010.
