Some of my favorite memories are of visiting my Everett cousins ( lots of kids) always fun . My parents laughing, your parents laughing, us all laughing and giggly, playing games, playing music, such good food! A fridge full of frog legs. Lots of friends around always. You will be missed Johnny, but party on ! Happy Heavenly Birthday please give my regards to all who have gone before and get ready for a great party when I come to join y’all. RIP cousin Love, Laura

I was talking on the phone with my son last night. We stayed up late into the night sharing Johnny stories. My son was an impressionable 8 when Johnny "cowboyed" into our lives.

Once you knew Johnny your life was never quite the same.

I meet Johnny about 15 to 20 years ago and he NEVER had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. At this time he was in a wheelchair and he had a great look on to life. I would have been mad at the world. In 2019 I stopped by there home and Jonny was out in the garage with a friend and 2 different times he told me he loved me. What do you say to guy that looks up to you in that way. He was in his chair and no telling what he had for lunch. I’m still smiling from that day. Diane and I stopped by there before Christmas and he was rocken and rollen that day. I couldn’t even tell he was sick. He had a very possessive attitude in life, I believe all the way to his end. He will be missed. He is the type of person that a lot of people could learn from. No matter what life throws at you just spit in the wind and just move forward. Will not be forgotten.
I can call you my friend, Johnny Everett
