John Thomas Scoby

John Thomas Scoby entered into rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the age of 87. He is survived by his beloved wife, Edith Ilene nee: Umfress, two sons; Jim (Teresa) Wright, Bob (Betsy) Scoby, three daughters; Mary Roberts, Jean (Don) Medlin, Margie Hess, two brothers; Lonnie (Tip) Scoby, Joe Scoby, two sisters; Ann Ennis, Ruth Gage, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John Thomas Scoby, Ruby nee: Cook, one son; Thomas Wayne Scoby, three brothers; William Scoby, H. Scoby, David Scoby, one sister; Francis Gable and two grandsons.

Mr. Scoby's funeral services will be conducted at the Arnold United Baptist Church, 1968 Lonedell Road on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold on Friday from 5-8 p.m. There will also be a visitation at Arnold United Baptist Church on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri.
