Jeff, you and I go back a long way, we grew up together and watched as our children grew older.  I pray Jordan will now watch over you as we both share the belief that our loved ones never truly leave us, we just cannot see them with our human eyes.  Jordan will be on your shoulder whispering in your ear until the day when our spirit eyes can open without being obstructed by our flesh.  My family and I are here for you and your family whenever you need us.  Thank you for trying to find my wifes ring she lost at the funeral home, I pray Jordan will get that to you too, somehow. I am a Seckman HS parent, and though I did not know Jorden, he sounds like an amazing young man.  I know that losing a child is the worst heartbreak, and I also know that clinging together and leaning on each other will help you to walk through this grief. This is an extremely upsetting story. i did not know jorden personally but still hearing the story of what happened to him breaks my heart. my prayers go out to his family. i am so sorry you have to go through such a tough time of loosing a loved one. My prayers to comfort and give peace in your hearts to your family and friends are ongoing. Jorden was a kind, special young man who dated my niece, Taylor and always treated her well and was pleasant to be around at family gatherings.  I'm attaching a photo that I took over 30 years ago that proves to me that there is definitely a Heaven. I hope that you can see Jesus' Mother Mary in the image. It convinces me that THEY are out there. Bless you, Jorden, and I pray that you are in the loving arms of God and are happy and at peace. Jorden was a student in my music class at Rockport Elementary School.  He was a delighful boy! I can't imagine the grief you are experiencing, but please know that you are in my prayers.  May God comfort you during this difficult time.

I don't really know what to say!  You hear of this happening all around and yet you never think it will happen in your own family.  Tammy it seems like a lifetime since we have seen you and spent time with you.  Aside from Jorden's passing that seems to be the thing that Jo and I struggle with the most.  Please know you are loved very deeply!  There are no words that I can offerto ease your pain and sorrow nor the deep sense of emptiness.  My prayer for you and Tony and Brit and the rest of the (our) family is simply that we will find the hope that is offered in this verse and in the knowlege that even though we may not feel Him or even may question Him.
