Joyce Ethelyn Walker

Joyce Ethelyn Walker passed away peacefully at home Saturday, December 10, 2016. Daughter of the late Oscar T. and Ethel Tomlinson (nee Clayton) and stepdaughter of the late Hazel Tomlinson (nee Phipps). Beloved wife of Donald Walker. Loving mother of Jeffery (Sharon) Parsons and Judy (Joe Bob) Pfefferkorn. Dear grandmother of Rebecca (Jason) Sander and Regina (Greg) Steele and great grandmother of Madison and Joey Sander. Sister of Kathlyn (Bill) Johanning and the late Willodean Thompson, Willojane Tomlinson and the late Walter, Lemuel, Willis, Allen and Harvey Tomlinson. She was a loving aunt of many nieces and nephews and had many dear friends.

Joyce worked at White Rodgers for 35 years. She was an active member of Bethesda General Baptist Church in Imperial.

Visitation will be on December 12, 2016, 4-8:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, Mo. 63010. On Tuesday there will be a short visitation at Bethesda General Baptist Church, 910 Craig Road, Imperial, Mo. from 10:00-11:00 am. The funeral service will immediately follow at the church at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Mo. Memorials are requested by the family in honor of Joyce to Jefferson County Mission, 8943 Commercial Blvd., Pevely, Mo.
