I enjoyed working  with Karen, to many years to count, at St. Anthony's.  I have so enjoyed her posts of family, especially all those beautiful grandchildren, and her travels on FB over the years. It saddened me greatly when I learned of her passing.  My prayers to Karen and all her family and friends. I wish there was something that could help take away all the feelings of loosing someone who is so loved. May God keep you in His living arms during this time. 🙏

The last time I saw her she seemed so happy and engaged at our oldest grand-daughter’s concert.  She looked thinner, so I complimented her and that made her happy.  We both laughed, when she commented, “boy, we’re getting old!”  That was early November, wished her good luck with surgery and sadly it was downhill from there.  Rest easy, Karen, you put up a valiant fight, you deserve the peace!

There are so many memories it's hard to choose just one. Some of my most cherished are the summers we spent at Uncle Jim and Aunt Peggie's house at the lake in Tennesse. Fireworks, taking the boat to Bubba Brews, swimming. I will miss those summer nights on the deck at dusk just talking and being with family we loved. Thank you Aunt Karen. We love you. This photo was from the lake and one of her favorites. Aunt Karen, Joyce, and Franklin were being zombies lol.
