Linda Sue Waller (nee Wilson), of Arnold, Missouri passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026. She was born June 19, 1945 in Paducah, KY, grew up in East St. Louis, IL before moving to St. Louis, MO - where she called home.
Linda (Lynn) left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. With her vibrant spirit and one-of-a-kind sense of humor, she brought laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. she was a cherished friend, a devoted mother to her two daughters, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose love for family knew no bounds.
Lynn found happiness in life's simple pleasures - casting a line on a quiet lake, dancing without hesitation, and singing along to her favorite music, especially '80s country. Some of her most treasured times were spent at her cabin, surrounded by family & friends. A loyal Cardinals baseball fan through and through. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the love she shared and the countless lives she touched.
Lynn is survived by her daughters, Pam (Tom) Broaders and Judy Collins. Her grandchildren, Christine Broaders, Kelsey Hunt, Eugene Broaders, Lexi (Michael) Anson and Eric Collins. Her great grandchildren Lucas Edelen, Lyric Bogard and Lane Anson. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlie Curt and Mary Sue Wilson, her sister, Carol Wren and her dear companion, Pat Truitt.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, with a memorial service at 5:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010.
