Martin C. Heck Sr. of Fenton, MO. passed away on Saturday February 6, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, MO on August 18, 1939 to the late Martin M. and Marie (nee Meyer) Heck; Beloved husband of Boni L. Heck (nee Kundert); loving father of Martin C. (Victoria D.) Heck Jr., Michael W. (Beverly I.) Heck, Mark D. Heck, Kathryn S. Heck and Melissa S. Firestine; loving grandfather of Martin Matthew (Kati) Heck, Joshua R. (Jessica) Heck, Brandon C. Heck, Brittany D. (Matt) Farrell, Ashley M. (Andy) Vaughn, Michael W. Heck Jr., Shane R. Heck, Brooke Brennan, Meagan (and the late James) Garcia, Bonnie (Christiaan) Gerstenecker, Gregory (Samantha) Carter, Courtney Carter, Jeremy Carter, Jacob Crackel and Jon Crackel; dear great grandfather of 28. dear brother of the late Marie C. (and the late Robert) Busch Sr., Sally M. (and the late Donald) Schisler Sr. and Joyce L. (and the late Gill) Wagner. dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Lifelong member of the Bricklayers Local 1 of Missouri for over 66 years (retired)

At 15 he was the youngest mason apprentice and at 19 the youngest journeyman

Martin was a die-hard fisherman and an avid hunter his whole life. He won 2 boats and placed in several tournaments. He also enjoyed deer hunting, duck hunting, rabbit hunting, goose hunting, coyote hunting, dove hunting (his last time hunting), quail hunting and squirrel hunting with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. Funeral service Saturday, 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorial donations in Martin's Honor may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
