Mary Patricia Harper (nee Pierce) 83, of Festus, Mo., died March 11, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Mo. Mrs. Harper was retired from the Military Records Center. Born February 18, 1930 in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of Adrian and Mary Pierce. She is survived by her husband, James Harper of 63 years, of Festus, Mo. Daughters are Cheryl (Peter) Kunkel and Mary (Steve) Foster, sons are Michael and Robert (Zoe) Harper. Sisters are Kathleen (Ken) Mueller, Geraldine Cardinale and the late Adrian Sczepanski. Brothers are Frank (Martha), William (Joann), Danny (Sharon), Tom (Carolynn) and Harry (Jean) Pierce. Loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 1.
Funeral arrangements are private. Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
