Melissa Ann Chasteen of Arnold, MO passed away on Friday July 3, 2026. She was born in Troy, IL on February 18, 1971 to the late Sandra Jean Yates-Agles and stepdaughter of the late Richard (Dick) Agles: daughter-in-law of Kathleen and the late Keith Feltman; beloved wife of 29 years to Steven Chasteen; loving mother of Stephanie, Melanie, Aubrey, Madison and grand cat Kenzie;
"Loving aunt Boo" to Shayla (Matt) Jackson, Anthony (Austin) Timme, Dillon (Alexandra) Timme, Lauren (Peter) Simpson, Taylor (Billy) Ludwig, Macy Bann and Shannon (James) Chasteen; dear sister of Scott (Doreen) Bann and Sonya (Eddy) Johnson; dear friend to many.
Melissa loved the Cardinals and NASCAR. Her greatest achievements were being a mother and devoting her life to her daughters with band, choir and sports.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Melissa's Honor may be made to "Lunch Money" at the Fox School District or to Brendan's backpack.
