Uncle Mike is in Heaven, walking the streets of Glory with my Momma, his Momma, Grandma and countless others that went on before him. God Bless his immediate family that is going to have a giant hole in their family. I pray for you daily since I heard he was sick. Please know that you are in my thoughts, I'm sorry I can't be there for his home going. May God Bless you and give you strength.

Back when we were children my sister, Beth, and I eagerly looked forward to our weekly movie night with Uncle Mike and Aunt Linda. Of the many visits my favorite was the time we watched a remake of “Night at the Opera”. Never had a laugh been so infectious than Uncle Mikes. Constantly we found ourselves pausing because not one of us could stop laughing. That was the effect this man had. I’ve never met another who had a such a warm, welcoming, and wonderful sense of humor. It was always a treat to speak with him and I will miss him greatly.

❤️ When I was about 10, aunt Linda and uncle Mike would come over to my moms house for dinner and a movie, maybe once a week. As soon as uncle Mike walked through the door Ryan and I ran to him and yelled out “hi uncle Mike.” Uncle Mike’s response was “I am not, who told you?” For some reason that tickled my brother and I and we would laugh and laugh until our bellies hurt. Uncle Mike had a voice that could fill your home with the loudest most warmest laughter. I miss that! ❤️

Mike brought his nephew, Matt, to fish in our stocked little pond, when Matt was a youngter. The fish were very little blue gill that eagerly took the bait. It was all catch and release. I enjoyed watching the fishing fun. What a wonderful day. And Mike was a wonderful uncle!
