OBITUARY

Nathan P. Schmaltz

Nathan Paul Schmaltz, age 33, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Tuesday May 19, 2020. Nathan was born May 12, 1987 to Gary Schmaltz and the late Debra Brocksmith (nee McGowan). Nathan is survived by his sister Jennifer (Timothy) Riggins and brother Matthew Schmaltz.

Nathan loved camping, canoeing, volleyball, darts and generally the outdoors.

Visitation for Nathan will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. A celebration of life service will take place after the visitation from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. at the funeral home. Contributions in Nathan's memory may be made to St. Louis Area Food Bank or a charity of one's choice.

Your sense of humor was incredible. I’ll never forget... we all wanted to play a joke on one of the managers at work and you had the idea to put a picture of a “free” lawnmower up on Craigslist and put the managers number on the ad. It wasn’t :30 seconds after he posted, the managers phone started ringing and didn’t stop for a few hours. He was storming around the office trying to figure out who it was... one of the best pranks I’ve ever seen. Thank you for the laughs. Rest easy. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
