Beloved husband of Rita Sutter (nee Jung); loving father of Christine (Joseph) Temporal, Joseph (Kathleen) Sutter, Robert (Cheryl) Sutter and Catherine (Richard) Hansen; dear brother of Blanche (Al) Tiggemann, Mary (Don) Balkenbush and the late Bernard and Raymond (Ginny) Sutter; loving grandfather of Victoria Sutter, James (Kaitlin) Sutter, Timothy Sutter, Jordan Sutter, Kelly Temporal, Helen Temporal, John Hansen and Matthew Hansen; son of the late Fred and Helen (nee Meier) Sutter; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Rich retired from Laclede Gas Co. He was a member of Arnold Knights of Columbus Council 6018 Pope John XXIII. He enjoyed family, golfing and woodworking and was a proud veteran.

Funeral from Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO on Monday, February 13, 9:15 am, then to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church for funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, February 12 from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
