Please accept my sincere sympathy at your loss. Rita was a great friend. I graduated from Laboure high school with her. Then we were in the same parish St. Christopher's during our early family days. I knew both Rita and Rich, and enjoyed their company. Treasure your memories. Alverta Abbott (Haberstroh)

Rita wrote kind, helpful letters to me when I was compiling family history for her mother's Pingel family. Her love of, and pride in her children shown through.

Rita forgot a lot of things in her last days, but she never forgot our childhood memories. She never forgot that I was born on "March in the Nineteenth". That is what I told everyone when I was a child. I asked her how she could remember that, because she was nine years younger than I. Rita said that the family always talked and laughed about it.

She was a good sister and I will miss her.
