Robert L. Dunlap went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dade and Nellie Dunlap, brother, Carlos, and sister, Phyllis Harper, of St. Albans, WV. He is survived by his wife, Velma, daughters, Marsha (Richard) Sutton of Harrisburg, PA, and Carla Taylor of Arnold, MO, son, Duane (Johonna) Kiser of Richview, IL, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Robert graduated from St. Albans High School in 1949, served in the United States Navy, and earned a JD from Sanford University Law School. He was employed by Hollander and Company/Lesley Acceptance Corporation until he retired in 1986. His love, generosity, and unselfishness forever changed all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 12:00 p.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, Arnold, MO Visitation Monday from 4-8 p.m. Interment National Cemetery.
