

Bob was born November 10, 1949, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Charles and Elsie (Dickey) Marshall. Bob attended Cahokia High School and graduated in 1967. He joined the United States Air Force in 1969 and was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, AZ, until he was discharged in 1972. He married Doreen ("Dee") Thompson in August 1972, and later moved back to St. Louis, where they had two children, Jeff and Lacey. Bob worked at Chrysler's Saint Louis Assembly "North" in Fenton, MO until he retired in 2004.
He was a member of the UAW Union, Local 136.
He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Jr. ("Pee Wee"), Williard, and Richard, and sisters Ina and Ellen. He is survived by his wife, Dee; son, Jeff (Sherri) Marshall; and daughter, Lacey (Thomas) Bommarito. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Todd (Ashley) Marshall; Amanda Marshall; Claire and Hayden Bommarito, sisters; Betty Kinder (Gene) and Dinah Byerley, and one great-grandson Kaiden Marshall.
Visitation and celebration of Life for Bob will be from 4 to 8 on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Heiligtag-Lang-and Fendler in Arnold. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. ln lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the following charities:
