Robert Leon Mitchell passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2015, at the age of 92. Dear son of the late Charles A. and Dollie M. (nee West) Mitchell. Loving husband of the late Maxine F. (nee Garrett) Mitchell. Beloved father of Sandra (Jim) L. Wisecarver, Jimmy (Jean) J. Petty, Robert (Carolyn) L. Mitchell, Jr. and Randall G. Mitchell. Sister of Wuanita Williams and the late Lehman P. and Lloyd Mitchell. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015, 4-8:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Heart Association or Alzeimer,s Association.
