I knew Ron in the early nineties. He was an easy going mild mannered man who loved boating.
I had the pleasure of spending a July fourth Celebration with Ron, Glenda and another dear departed friend, Bill Effkin moored on the Mississippi in front of the Gateway Arch. What a memorable time.
Though we lost touch, over the years, Ron often came up in thought and conversations.
My deepest sympathies to Glenda and all grieving his passing.

So sorry to hear about Ron.  He is still Ronnie to me.  He was in my Sunday School class from the time I was a toddler and I think his birthday may have been a day before mine.  He always got to to put his pennies in the little white church bank before me.  The church really made out well when we dropped in those three, four or five pennies!!!!  We were in school together.
Ron, still Ronnie to me, was always such a friendly and jovial fellow.  Our paths crossed a number of times over the years.  I was so sorry to learn of his passing.  My sympathies to Glenda.  It was always fun knowing when the Bookmobile came to Oakville. I always enjoyed stopping to visit with Glenda.  Very nice folks.

Ron was a true friend, in good times and bad.  We spent many days together camping all over the country, and many hours playing games, enjoying dinners out, and exploring new areas over the last twenty years!  I will miss Ron terribly and fondly remember often all of the good times we had.  Just sitting outside and talking was always enjoyable.  Ron and I shared our life experiences with each other during too many conversations too remember.  Ron even would walk my dog for me when he was between dogs.  He loved dogs so much, he treated them like they were his kids and dressed them up in cute outfits.  I never heard Ron speak negatively of anyone, nor did he ever discuss politics, but he would listen if that's what you wanted to talk about.  Ron was a classy gentlemen and I will miss him!  Rest in peace friend, with all of my love.
