Sally I. Owen

Owen, Sally I. 88 of Potosi, MO. passed away on Wednesday August 19, 2020. She was born on June 22, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to the late Clifford W. and Irma (nee Grounds) Detjen; Beloved wife of the late Len B. Owen; loving mother of Jeffrey (Sherry) Owen, Linda Fischer, Kathleen Emberton, Wendy (David) Schiller, James Owen and Kimberly Meder; loving grandmother of Dawn, Maureen, Mario, Cory, Kyle, Deanna, David, Daniel, and Jesse; great grandmother of Zachary, Vanessa, Danielle, Lexx, Jacob, Brayden, Aleigha and Dexter; dear sister of the late Don W. Detjen, Nancy J. Torr and Neil C. Detjen; sister-in-law of Mary Sue Pensel and Donald Torr.

Sally was a member of the Potosi United Methodist Church. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, country life, camping, fishing, pie baking, playing rummy and scrabble. But most of all she especially missed her dog "Katy Girl".

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2020 from 4-8 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral service Wednesday 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations in Sally's honor may be made to CdLS Foundation or to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
