Shirley Mae Miller

Shirley was born July 2, 1936 to the late Louis Hirte and Carrie Hirte in St Louis, Missouri. She

was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene “Gene” Miller.

She is survived by two sons: Robert Miller of Bonne Terre, Michael Miller of Arnold; five

grandchildren: Melissa Miller, Jennifer (Scott) Wynn, Joseph Miller, Kyle Miller, and Scott Miller;

five great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Madelyn, Chase, Chloe, and Cali.

She was preceded in death by her son: Gary Miller of Monroe, North Carolina.

She was a long time member of Saint David Catholic Church. Where she enjoyed volunteering

and going on group outings with fellow parishioners. She enjoyed reading books and spending

time with her family, friends, and of course her dog “Chip”.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at

Heligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, December 9, 2021

from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint David Catholic Church in Arnold, followed by a committal

service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 11:15 AM.

Shirley will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
