

February 8, 1928 – December 14, 2012 – Born in Fredrick, Oklahoma, the second child of eight born to Emily and Roy Trevathan. The family moved to Sparta, Illinois where Vivian spent her childhood and teenage years. She relocated to St. Louis after graduating from high school. She was married a few years when her only son, Allen, was born in 1952. During his early childhood, Vivian was introduced to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by Mr. Kirby Chiles. She was baptized in April, 1955, at Lindell Blvd. Bible Church and then attended South County Bible Church. She has resided at Friendship Village about 10 years. She was married to Bill Goodson in 1969.
She is survived by son, Allen Logston and his wife, Vickie; Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Reggie) Purnell, Whitney (Kim) Logston; Great-grandchildren: Trent, Hailey, and Alaina Logston; Sisters: Faye Gott, Evelyn Cathcart; Brother: David Trevathan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation on December 18, 2012, 4-8 p.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, Arnold, Mo. Service to be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is private.
