
After school, she worked at Federal Intermediate Credit Bank in St Louis as a secretary for several years.
Later she spent many years as a housewife. She enjoyed cooking, and loved keeping up with friends and family on Facebook.
Zuelah was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on January 17, 1934 to the late Elza Eugene and Laurie (Crocker) Myers. Zuelah was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmie Lee Beaver in 1972, and her second husband Crawford “Barney” Yeager in 1999. A daughter, Katherine Dean (Beaver) Stewart also preceded her in death.
Zuelah is survived by her son, James Eugene (Penny) Beaver of Georgetown, Texas and her step-daughter, Karen Sue Yeager of St. Louis, three grandchildren: Danny (Susan) Beaver, Amie (Jim) Smith and Lindsey (Moises) Monroy, and five great grandchildren: Cyan, Calista and Cael Beaver, Elisa and Silvia Monroy.
As she was the only surviving sibling out of 6 children, Zuelah was also the beloved aunt to Dennis (Donna) Kohut, Brenda Estes, Karen (Daniel) Godbey, Dale (Shelly) Jarvis, Jan (Patrick) McElyea, Pam (Nations) Gibbons, Joey Nations and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at Sandy Creek Baptist Cemetery on December 21, 2021. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
