Born on October 19, 1942, in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Corinne Johns. Eloise dedicated much of her life to her community through her work at the Ashland Public Library and the Park Street Library, where her love of books and learning touched the lives of many.
Eloise was a kind-hearted and creative soul who expressed her love through thoughtful handmade cards and beautiful embroidery. She cherished time spent reading and was happiest surrounded by her family.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin (Daun) Siler and Brian Siler; her grandchildren, Jaxon Siler, Klayton Siler, and Nathan Keener; her brother, James Johns; and dear family friends Jody (Kurt) Brown, Spencer Repp, Weston Brown, Grant Brown, Jennifer, and Braxton.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith Siler; her daughter, Jennifer Siler; her parents, and her sister, Maxine Johns.
Family and friends may gather to honor Eloise’s life on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland, 308 Claremont Ave., Ashland. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Eloise will be laid to rest at Ashland County Memorial Park.
