Kathleen P Leister

Born November 9, 1950, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Virginia (Rath) McDonald.

Kathy graduated from Danville High School in 1968, attended Ashland College, and earned her Practical Nursing accreditation from North Central Technical College in 1982. She worked as an LPN at The Good Shepherd Home and previously at the A.L. Garber Company.

An adventurous spirit, Kathy loved traveling, biking, hiking, camping, and reading. She constantly challenged herself, learning to ride horses, play piano, and even fly an airplane, soloing in 1993. She cherished her friends, her cats, and the wildlife visiting her stoop.

She is survived by her sister, Lynden McDonald; companion, David Tuuri; and close friends, Carolyn "Kay" and Michael Dewey.
