Kim Earl Henthorn

A lifelong resident of Ashland, Ohio, Kim was born on July 10, 1957, to Carl and Evelyn (Long) Henthorn. Kim made every day a good day, always saying that ‘never had a bad day in his life’ as each day is what you make of it with your outlook and attitude. He gave back to others and was always there to help others in a time of need. He loved NASCAR, doing yardwork and going to the beach but most of all he loved his grandkids and was the best grandpa.

Kim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara J. Henthorn; his children, Jason Henthorn and Jennifer (Ray) Daugherty; his grandchildren, Zackary (Tabi) Lane, Alex (Mackenzie) Lane, Mackenzie Richardson, Kyleigh Luchuk, and Camden Henthorn; great-granddaughter, Lyla Luchuk; bonus great-grandchildren, Amslee, Alayna, Anthony and Rocky; his brothers, Rodney (Deb) Henthorn, Bruce Henthorn, Richard Henthorn; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Johnson, Kathy Pickering, Dory (Ron) Matz; and brother-in-law, Denny Baker; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by his son, Jamie L. Henthorn; his parents; his brothers, James Henthorn, Dave Henthorn, Kenneth Henthorn; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Per Kim’s request, there will be no services held. If you wish to honor his memory, please make a memorial contribution in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
